Jay Kim is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree and holds a Certificate 3 in Live Production and Services. With over a decade of experience playing the guitar, Jay studies at the Australian Institute of Music.

Jay found his footing in the music industry as an Assistant Engineer at a recording studio in Waterloo. In this role, he assists with recording, mixing, and session work, contributing to numerous projects with skills and creativity.

Jay's involvement in the music scene goes beyond the studio. He has been actively involved in live shows both as a performer and as part of the production crew. Collaborating with musicians locally and internationally, Jay enjoys contributing his talents not only as a musician but also as a songwriter.

Specializing in genres like Pop, Funk, Soul, and R&B, Jay currently plays guitar and sings for the bands "Night Pilots" and "Wet Brains." With a collection of over 100 recorded and mixed tracks, Jay showcases his versatility in different musical contexts.

Jay has had the opportunity to work at notable venues such as The Star, The Hordern Pavilion, Lunar Park, and Vics and the Park. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, Jay's love for music and dedication to his craft shines through in his work.
